Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher to join our partners' school and support learners with SEMH. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned to the National Curriculum and work with parents to track progress.

Based in Banstead, this full-time role runs until the end of the academic year, with potential for permanence. You will join a supportive team, with on-site parking and dedicated PPA time to plan high-quality lessons.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Relevant teaching experience, backed by two strong teaching references.
• Solid knowledge of the current National Curriculum.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to discuss progress and foster home–school partnerships.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole‑school training events to support a collaborative environment.
• Plan and prepare comprehensive lessons across the National Curriculum, adapting content to be accessible for all learners.
