A catering company in the Tees Valley is seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to provide nutritious meals at a school. The role offers 30 hours per week during term time, focusing on high food quality and safety. Candidates need Level 2 NVQ Cookery and a hygiene certification. This position ensures a great work-life balance with no weekends, alongside opportunities for personal development.
We are looking for an experienced Chef / Cook based at Trinity Catholic College in Middlesbrough who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We are looking for an organised hard-working and passionate individual to ensure that the food quality presentation and service are provided to the required standard. You should be passionate about delivering an efficient service to our students whilst ensuring we maintain great customer service and high food safety standards.
30 HOURS Per Week
Mon -Fri - Term time only
13.00 per hour
You will assist the Manager with all planning preparing and cooking of meals to the required standard and you will ensure that the companys reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers. Other tasks will include briefing kitchen teams on menus and service ensuring all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously and carry out company bookwork.
