Job summary

Warburtons Bristol Bakery and Distribution depot is seeking a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver for early starts and a 43‑hour week. You will load your own vehicle, pick orders, and deliver bakery products across multiple customers with a strong focus on service.

Expect a rotating 5‑day pattern that includes weekends, with autonomy and daily planning around deliveries. The role offers full‑time permanent employment and a supportive driver training environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement.
• Digital Tacho Card and Full Driver CPC are required.
• Must meet driver hours and regulation standards.

Responsibilities

• Load own vehicle with bakery products at depot or en route.
• Pick orders from delivery notes or electronic device and deliver to customers.
• Deliver to multiple customers daily with high service and professionalism.
• Relay faults via defect forms and observe road safety and transport rules.

Hours: 43 hours per week, starting between 03:30 and 04:00
Salary: £783.69 Per Week

The Recipe

• You’ll receive a 6-week induction and support from our in-house driver training team.
• You’ll be an early riser—shifts start around 03:30 (some patterns may vary). The upside? Your afternoons are all yours.
• You’ll enjoy plenty of autonomy. You’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accurately pick the orders and load your own vehicle with our baked goods—either at the depot or on the move.
• To help keep your day smooth and safe, knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, Highway Code, etc.) will be key in order to relay faults on defect forms.
• Once your route for the day is loaded into your onboard computer, you’re off!
• You’ll deliver to multiple customers daily (they’re like family to us), so top-notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must. This includes being able to manage difficult conversations in a calm manner and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
• You’ll work a defined rotating 5‑day pattern, including weekends. That’s 43 hours a week, though some weeks may be less. All of which will hopefully help you to plan your life around work more easily.

Our Bristol Bakery and Distribution depot is located at Severn Beach, near Bristol. You’ll find us a 15‑minute drive from the M5 and 10 minutes from Severn bridge if you’re heading over the bridge from Wales (Toll Free)!

We have 3 state of the art manufacturing plants and Bristol Bakery is the proud home to one of our latest innovations, The Bagel! Bristol manufacture and distribute over 12 different types of bakery products producing over 160,000 units of freshly baked products to delight families across the UK.
