An educational trust in Havering is seeking a dedicated Secondary Cover Supervisor to support classroom learning. This role involves supervising classes when the regular teacher is absent, ensuring lessons run smoothly, and maintaining student behaviour. Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
Salary: £100-£120 per day
We are looking for a dedicated and confident Secondary Cover supervisor to join our trust of secondary schools in Havering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across the classroom.
As a Secondary Cover supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 when the regular teacher is absent. All work will be pre-prepared and left by the classroom teacher for you to deliver. The successful candidate will ensure that lessons run smoothly, that students stay on task, and that behaviour is managed effectively throughout the day.
The ideal Secondary Cover supervisor will have excellent communication skills, a calm and professional approach, and strong behaviour management abilities. Experience working with young people or in a school environment would be highly advantageous.
