As an Art Teacher, your role will extend beyond lesson planning — you will play a crucial role in shaping the artistic confidence of young people, helping them refine their creative skills and pursue their future aspirations in the arts and design sector. Key responsibilities include:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent – PGCE/BA in Art & Design or related discipline).
Experience teaching Art at secondary level (A-Level experience desirable).
Strong subject knowledge and practical skills across a variety of artistic disciplines.
Ability to inspire confidence and creative ambition in students of all abilities.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
