A maritime service provider is seeking a Second Engineer for the REV Ocean vessel. This role involves managing engineering operations and ensuring safety and compliance onboard. Candidates must possess valid STCW95 certification and CoC A-III/2, along with extensive experience in similar roles. Qualifications

• Must possess valid STCW95 certification.
• Valid CoC A-III/2 and other regulatory certifications required.
• Experience in similar roles with Wartsila engines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering spaces during shifts as 2nd Engineer.
• Participate in crew safety drills and maintain safety standards.
• Ensure logbooks are updated and assist in troubleshooting faults.

Skills

Management level Certificate (STCW Reg.III/2)

Extensive experience on board passenger ships

Proficient in English (verbal and written)

Knowledge of technical drawings and manuals

Computerized planned maintenance programs
