Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Seasonal Store Colleague to help deliver an outstanding experience during one of our busiest periods. You will support daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, replenish stock and help maintain presentation standards across the shop floor.

You will work with a supportive team, gain retail experience, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers during peak trading times such as Christmas and other festive dates.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to follow processes and maintain attention to detail.
• Retail experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Support the achievement of store and team objectives through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Replenish stock and help ensure products are available and presented in line with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays and stock areas remain clean, organised and well maintained.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, stock handling and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required, to contribute to the successful operation of the store during peak trading periods.
