Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking festive Santa's Helpers to bring magical experiences to families this Christmas season at the grotto. You’ll greet visitors, listen to wish lists, pose for photos, and hand out gifts with warmth and charm. Full costume, training and guidance are provided.

Start from 16 November to 24 December, with potential to stay on as a Customer Advisor depending on role availability. DBS clearance and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• DBS check completed before start date.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to attend a short induction/training session before grotto opens.

Responsibilities

• Bringing Christmas to life for families: greet children and their families, listen to wish lists, pose for photos, and hand out gifts with warmth and festive spirit.
• Host Santa's Breakfasts: welcome families to mornings of laughter and storytelling.
• Act as the ambassador of festive cheer at Santa Paws for children, adults and pets.
• Deliver an inclusive grotto experience with training and support from fellow Santas and Elves.
