Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd in Scotland is seeking a cheerful Santa for the festive grotto season. You will greet families, listen to wish lists, pose for photos and hand out gifts with warmth and festive charm.

Responsibilities include Santa breakfasts, Santa Paws events and creating an inclusive experience for all visitors, with training and support from fellow Santas and Elves to ensure magical visits.

Qualifications

• PVG/Disclosure Scotland required before start date, we’ll guide you through the process.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to attend a short induction/training session before grotto opens.
• Previous panto, am-dram, customer service or event-hosting experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet families, listen to Christmas wish lists, pose for photos, and hand out gifts with warmth and festive spirit.
• Host Santa’s Breakfasts, welcoming families to magical mornings with storytelling.
• Act as ambassador of festive cheer at Santa Paws events for children, adults and pets.
• Deliver an inclusive grotto experience with training and support from fellow Santas and Elves.
