Job summary

Dunelm is recruiting for a Sales Assistant in our local store on a seasonal basis until 13 February 2027. This role is 8 hours per week, with pay rates for 16-17 and 18+ as shown in-store. You will deliver friendly, customer-focused service, helping customers find items and providing inspiration for their home.

As part of a brilliant team, you’ll help create a welcoming environment and a smooth shopping experience, from the first hello to the final thank you.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience helpful.
• Friendly and reliable in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Busy seasonal period.

Responsibilities

• Tills – operate checkout and pack items with care.
• Shop Floor – help customers find what they need and provide guidance.
• Hosting – process home delivery orders via iPad and support Made to Measure services.
• Stock & Delivery – assist deliveries, check stock, replenish displays and keep shelves tidy.
