TGJones is seeking a Seasonal Sales Assistant for a short-term contract (29 November 2026 to 23 January 2027). The role is 6 hours per week, with work on Saturdays or Sundays in a UK high-street store. Pay is aligned with age-related minimum and living wage rates, ranging from £8.00 to £12.71 per hour depending on age group.

You’ll assist customers, recommend products and help maintain a welcoming shop environment, contributing to a positive sales experience.

Seasonal Sales Assistant

Seasonal contract: 29 November 2026 to 23 January 2027

Working Hours: 6 hours per week, working Saturdays or Sundays

We pay in line with UK age-related minimum and living wage rates, so your pay will depend on your age group:

16–18 years: £8.00 per hour

18–20 years: £10.85 per hour

21+ years: £12.71 per hour

About the role

As a Sales Assistant, you'll get to know what customers are looking for, help them find the right products and share recommendations that make their purchases even better. From finding the perfect gift to spotting a useful add-on, you'll make a difference through the little things you do.

We're looking for people who enjoy bringing positive energy to the shop floor and feel proud when a customer leaves happy. Great service and great sales go hand in hand, you'll recommend products because they're right for the customer, while helping the store achieve its goals.

Keep the store looking its best. Replenish stock, maintain attractive displays and keep the shop floor tidy and easy to navigate.
