A well-known cosmetics retailer in Edinburgh is seeking a Sales Assistant to provide outstanding customer service and showcase products. Ideal candidates are passionate about enhancing customer experiences and working in a team environment. Full training will be provided, and the role includes various responsibilities from customer engagement to store maintenance. This position offers flexibility with hours, starting from 1st October 2025 until 31st December 2025.

Key Information

Hours available: We have flexibility with the weekly contracts we can offer, considering your availability to work and the needs of the shop. Ideal minimum contract would be 18 hours per week (3 x 6hr shifts).

Application Deadline: We may close the advert early if we receive a high number of applications.

Interview Date: Invitation for a 1.5hr trial shift to take place between 12th September - 30th September.

Start Date: 1st October 2025

End Date: 31st December 2025

Christmas Eve and Boxing Day: We are closed on Christmas Day and for fairness ask each team member to work either Christmas Eve or Boxing Day.

The role

Sales Assistants are the heartbeat of our business, consistently delivering outstanding customer service year-round. We're seeking individuals who are not just passionate and motivated but also enthusiastic about showcasing our beautiful products. As an excellent team player, you'll actively engage in giving and receiving feedback, contributing to the growth of our collective skills.

You'll go beyond the basics by asking insightful questions to understand each customer's needs, and showcasing our products through captivating demonstrations. Support their purchasing decisions by confirming interest through thoughtful questions and securing sales. Your role includes offering shop tours with intelligent link sales, crafting personalized routines, and providing pampering sit-down consultations, including decadent hand and arm massages as part of your daily routine.

Through in-depth training on our products and ingredients, you'll become a Lush Ambassador, embodying our ethics and values to our customers. Your crucial role will help create the ultimate experience for our guests, ensuring we offer the best service on the high street!
