Job summary

Royal Mail in MK10 is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver to join the local delivery team for a seasonal role until Christmas Eve. Shifts run 13:00-20:00, with a minimum of 20 hours per week, five days out of seven.

You will sort mail, deliver on foot or by Royal Mail vehicle, and provide friendly service to local homes and businesses, working independently outdoors. Applicants must hold a full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points) for at least 12 months, be physically fit,

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (with no more than 6 penalty points and held for at least 12 months).
• Physically fit and happy to walk outdoor routes in all kinds of British weather.
• Great customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
• No Criminal Record.

Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare mail and parcels in the delivery office for your route.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and/or using a Royal Mail vehicle.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to local homes and businesses.
• Work independently while managing your time effectively outdoors.
