Job summary

Parcelforce is seeking Seasonal Collection & Delivery Drivers for Deeside to manage parcel pickups and deliveries during the holiday peak. You’ll work Monday to Saturday, 08:30–18:30, earning £15.06 per hour with weekly pay and festive customer-service duties.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience or confidence in driving a 3.5t van.
• Exceptional customer service and communication, with a touch of holiday cheer.
• Ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Strong organisational skills with the capability to work independently.
• Positive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work during the festive rush.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks to ensure safe delivery of parcels.
• Collect and deliver parcels, including Christmas gifts, to residential and business addresses.
• Provide professional, friendly, and dependable service to customers during the festive season.
• Sort and organise parcels efficiently before embarking on delivery routes.
• Utilise a handheld PDA to follow planned routes and manage high-demand periods.
• Safely lift and deliver parcels up to 30kg, ensuring careful handling.
