Job summary

Danielle Ward Recruitment is seeking a talented menswear designer for a 12–18 month fixed-term contract. You will drive seasonal concepts, develop technical CADs and supplier specs, and support end-to-end product development from concept to final product.

You will collaborate with internal teams and overseas suppliers, lead range reviews, and mentor junior designers. Strong CAD literacy and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven menswear design experience and design capability.
• Creative and commercially focused design approach.
• Excellent CAD skills with technical package experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct seasonal trend and market research to inform collections.
• Create initial designs for range reviews that are commercially strong.
• Produce detailed CAD packs with fabric, trim and construction specs.
• Liaise with overseas suppliers to request samples and costings.
• Negotiate supplier prices and resolve development issues proactively.
• Attend fit meetings and supplier visits to ensure accurate execution.
• Support Junior Designers and Interns with guidance and feedback.
