Outdoor Learning seeks Seasonal Instructors for Grafham Water Centre in Cambridgeshire. Roles cover a range of outdoor activities with certification requirements and a duty to uphold safety and high-quality learner experiences.

Seasonal or fixed-term contracts apply, with on-site responsibilities at Grafham Water Centre. Applicants should hold relevant instructor qualifications and be willing to complete a DBS check, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and delivering engaging outdoor learning for

Responsibilities

• Deliver outdoor learning sessions at Grafham Water Centre.
• Ensure safety and supervision during activities.
• Support course administration and participant welfare.

Seasonal Instructors 2027 at Grafham Water Centre

Grafham Water Centre is recruiting for instructor positions for next season. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team delivering high quality outdoor learning on the shores of Grafham Water. Candidates will hold at least one of the below qualifications:

• RYA Dinghy Instructor
• RYA Windsurf Instructor
• RYA Wingsurf Instructor
• BCAB Paddlesport Instructor
• MT Climbing Wall Instructor
• MT Rock Climbing Instructor
• ERCA Traditional Ropes Course Instructor
• Any mountain bike award such as MIAS Level 1

Al candidates must hold a valid in date first aid certificate and be willing to complete an enhance DBS check.

Grafham Water Centre is a popular Outdoor Education Centre run by Cambridge County Council based on the shores of Grafham Water reservoir in Perry, Cambridgeshire. • 37-hour annualised hours contract. Some evening and weekend work will be required. We also have a range of part time and sessional contracts available to suit your availability.
