Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking Seasonal Exam Invigilators to cover Birmingham partner schools and Multi-Academy Trusts during examination periods. The role offers flexible hours, with training provided and support from a dedicated Partnership Executive. Prior invigilation experience is welcome but not essential.

Applicants must be able to prepare rooms, check IDs, supervise exams, manage materials, and maintain a calm, professional environment while adhering to examination regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, professional and able to remain vigilant during examinations.

• Able to follow instructions and examination regulations accurately.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in schools or invigilating exams is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms before each exam.
• Check candidate identification and seating arrangements.
• Supervise students during examinations and ensure regulations are followed.
• Distribute and collect examination papers and materials.
• Maintain a calm, quiet and professional environment.
• Record attendance and report incidents or irregularities.
• Assist with setting up and clearing examination venues.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of examination materials.
