Job Overview

ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is seeking Seasonal Ecologists to join our highly skilled ecology team. These fixed-term contract positions are for six months, starting in March/April, with the possibility of extending into a permanent position for the right candidates. The role is based in Bristol.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of ecological surveys (skills dependent) and assist senior colleagues with other surveys to develop your skill set.
  • Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis, and report writing.
  • Deliver work as efficiently as possible in order to meet agreed timescales and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic individual keen to develop an ecology career.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle (must be insured for business purposes).
  • Open to flexible working with regard to the type of work, timing and location, including night and weekend work as and when required.
  • Experience with European Protected Species survey work (not essential).
Compensation & Benefits
  • £23,809.50 per annum (full-time equivalent).
  • Working 37.5 hrs per week.
