Job summary

Escape Recruitment is supporting a growing business in Stirling to appoint a hands-on Supply & Demand Planner responsible for demand planning, purchasing and stock replenishment across a broad SKU range. You will balance stock availability with supplier lead times and working capital to optimise inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain planning and replenishment.
• Strong Excel ability with lookups and pivots.
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Analyse demand, sales trends and forecasts to plan purchasing and maintain stock availability.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring the right products arrive on time.
• Manage replenishment, min/max stock levels, and safety stock requirements.
• Monitor supplier lead times; expedite orders and resolve delivery issues.
• Build supplier relationships and review pricing/service levels; support new suppliers.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers and freight partners.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data and produce purchasing, inventory and KPI reports.
• Balance stock availability against inventory holding costs and working capital.
• Manage stock and relationships of a 3PL provider in the EU.
