Job summary

Michaels is seeking a retail team member for our NWK-MT OLIVE, NJ location to help customers, manage checkout, and maintain a well-stocked store. You will assist with stocking, signage, and customer inquiries while promoting the Michaels rewards program.

You will participate in truck unloads, replenishment, and omnichannel services (BOPIS/SFS), ensuring a safe, inviting store environment with friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash transactions to standards.
• Familiar with store operations including stocking and POS.
• Able to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise presentation; complete go-back and returns processes.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
