Job summary

The Salvation Army Glendale Corps is seeking a Christmas Ambassador (Temporary Full-Time) to stand at kettle locations during the holiday season, greeting customers and collecting donations on behalf of The Salvation Army.

As an 18+ employee, you will wear provided ID, ring the bell, track hours, and stay punctual. You will work in a dynamic, community-focused environment and support the mission with professionalism and warmth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If working near children, a criminal background check with Protect the Mission policies is required.
• Be neatly groomed and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work on time at the assigned location.
• Stand and ring the bell at the kettle stand.
• Wear proper identification (ID badge or logo attire).
• Record worked hours on the daily time slip, including lunch breaks.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Coordinate with the Kettle Coordinator when unable to report to work or when availability changes.
• Perform other assignments as directed.
