Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and optimize agentic search systems for production environments. You will own relevance and retrieval, and work to ensure results meet user needs.

This contract role is remote and paid on completion per task, with a conversational interview and a paid follow-up for standout candidates.

Position: Software Engineer — Agentic Search Systems
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$150 per task
Location: Remote
