Job summary

Hexcel in the United Kingdom seeks a Safety Data Sheet Author at our Duxford site. The selected candidate will author and maintain SDS, compile eSDS for REACh compliance, and control revision, issue and distribution of product safety documentation.

You will respond to customer requests on SDS documentation and manage hazard communication data within ERP systems, while developing regulatory content for health and safety labeling. 

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Experience in regulatory affairs or product stewardship is required.
• Strong knowledge of GHS classification and SDS preparation.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) per regulatory requirements.
• Compile and manage extended SDS (eSDS) for REACh compliance.
• Control revision, issue and distribution of product safety documentation.
• Respond to customer requests related to SDS documentation.
• Manage hazard communication data within SDS, labeling and ERP systems.
• Develop regulatory content for health and safety labeling.
