SDET Engineer (DevOps / Core AI)
Up to: £500 per day, Outside IR35 6 months initial project Hybrid (2 days on-site p/w, London)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will join our client's core engineering team, working directly with Data Engineering & AI teams to build and scale workflows across healthcare and life sciences. You'll help deliver enterprise-grade solutions for some of the world's largest pharmaceutical and medtech organisations, tackling complex data and workflow challenges with measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks (SDET).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate closely with AI Engineers and Data Engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Build, automate and support AI/ML and data platforms in AWS.
• Support deployment, monitoring and reliability of Agentic AI workflows.

Person Specification

• Hands-on AWS expertise.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong experience across DevOps, cloud infrastructure and automated testing.
• Good understanding of software testing, quality engineering and automation.
• Exposure to AI/LLM-based systems and modern data platforms.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
