Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager on a contract basis to work in a hybrid model. Scrum Master / Delivery Manager - Contract - Hybrid working (Telford) - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager to work at a leading consultancy client of ours, on behalf of a government organisation, on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will have a dual role, at a critical time for the project, to ensure the team deliver their work successfully, and also take responsibility for implementing the relevant ways of working.

Responsibilities will also include tracking project progress, supporting related timelines, prioritising resource management, and align ways of working via a Scrum of Scrums network.

Experience required

• A demonstrable background in delivery management, having successfully delivered complex IT projects and programmes to scheduled time and budget.
• Experience in performing the role of Scrum Master within an Agile team environment, and holding the relevant certifications in this area.
• Previous experience within the government sector would be advantageous but not essential.
• It would be desirable to have experience of working alongside other Scrum Masters as part of a large programme, to ensure working standards are adhered to.
• A strong IT knowledge, and experience of delivering projects that relate to applications, security or Cloud would be preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• The ability to engage with customers and technical teams, and possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).
