A leading financial institution is seeking an Assistant Vice President to facilitate Scrum events and lead Agile teams focused on delivering quality results. This role requires strong change management, analytical skills, and stakeholder management experience. Responsibilities include optimizing workflow, mitigating risks, and fostering team performance. Candidates must align with the company's values and mindset to drive effective collaboration.
Facilitates and supports Agile teams by ensuring they follow Scrum principles. To remove obstacles, enhance team collaboration, and ensure smooth communication, enabling the team to focus on delivering high‑quality, iterative results. Facilitates Scrum events, promotes continuous improvement, and acts as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders. Provides guidance on effective communication, visibility of work, and risk mitigation to safeguard the squad from interruptions.
As an Assistant Vice President, you will advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions, lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, and evaluate performance. If you hold leadership responsibilities, you are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours: Listen and be authentic, Energise and inspire, Align across the enterprise, Develop others.
