Job summary

OpportuLand is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a software delivery team for a UK-based manufacturing client, focusing on production planning and resource management systems. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week and emphasizes agile practices for predictable delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Scrum Master in software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile and Kanban.
• Experience with distributed teams and international clients.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in manufacturing or ERP/MRP projects is a plus.
• Excellent facilitation and communication; conflict resolution skills.
• Proactive, organized and able to manage time in a part-time setup.
• Scrum certification (PSM/CSM) is an advantage.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Help the team follow Scrum principles and continuously improve its ways of working.
• Identify and remove impediments, and escalate risks and blockers in a timely manner.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Track team progress and metrics (velocity, burndown, delivery predictability) and share transparent reports with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and the client side to keep communication clear and expectations aligned.
• Coach the team on Agile practices and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
