Job summary

A prominent NHS trust in Greater London is seeking a full-time screening practitioner to support the nursing team in the Bowel Cancer Screening team for a 12-month contract. Responsibilities include patient advocacy, data entry, and supporting patients within the endoscopy procedures. Job description
Overview

We are looking for a full time screening practitioner to support the nursing team within the Bowel Cancer Screening (BCS) team for a period of 12 months. The BCS centre has been designated for the North Central London Sector since 2007, covering Camden, Islington, Haringey, Enfield and Barnet. The BCS nursing team support BCS patients within the endoscopy procedure rooms. You would be able to work across University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) sites: UCH, Whittington Hospital and Chase Farm Hospital (to commence lists).

The bowel cancer screening team consists of 13 nurses working closely with administrative and medical staff. A majority of the nurses work longer days within a 4 day week. We can offer a flexible approach to work pattern, though this would need to fit around the needs of the service.
