Job summary

Personnel Ltd in London is seeking Screening Operatives to join their logistics security team. The role involves carrying out checks, searches and monitoring X-ray screening of incoming items, with evening shifts and weekends rotation.

You must have previous security experience, be able to provide last five years history, pass UK vetting and an eye test, and be flexible to work at short notice. Competitive hourly rates of £14.00 day, £15.40 night.

• Available for the stated evening shifts, including weekends according to the rota.
• Able to meet vetting requirements and complete the relevant security and search training before undertaking these duties.
• Suitable candidates must attend an eye test
• Security experience is essential

Responsibilities

• Carry out the checks and searches required by site procedures and completed training.
• Monitoring X-ray screening of incoming items and security searches
• Remain vigilant for signs of tampering, unauthorised interference, or breaches of security procedures.
• Immediately report discrepancies or security concerns to the responsible supervisor and follow the required escalation process.
• Complete any associated checking and security records accurately.
• Follow site health and safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.

Rate: £14.00 per hour (days) and £15.40 per hour (nights)

Shift: varies/ flexibility to rotate between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
