Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain a polite and professional manner.
  • Proven experience working within the NHS Bowel Screening Programme including BCSS.
  • Proven experience working within a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake specimen reception and recording.
  • Identify population cohorts for screening and arrange communication materials.
  • Receive and respond to telephone calls from participants in a compassionate manner.
  • Guide and supervise new team members.

Skills

Proven experience working within a multidisciplinary office environment
Proven knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office
Proven experience working with the public
Proven experience working within an NHS environment

Education

Educated to GCSE level grade C or above or equivalent
