Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Scouting Analyst to cover African football. In recruitment, you will combine video analysis, scouting intelligence, market knowledge and data to inform evidence-based recommendations for priority transfers.

You will scout, write concise reports, assess ability and potential, and create video clips of key traits. Occasional UK and international travel is expected in this UK-based role.

Qualifications

• A degree in sport, performance analysis, or related subject.
• Strong football knowledge and elite-level profiling.
• Experience with video scouting and producing player reports.
• Experience with Wyscout, Hudl, Sportscode/Studio.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Person Specification

• A degree in sport, performance analysis, sports science or a related subject.
• Strong football knowledge, including player profiling at elite level.
• Knowledge of African football markets, competitions and academies.
• Experience in video scouting and writing evidence-based player reports.
• Experience with Wyscout, Hudl, Sportscode or Studio.
• Strong presentation, video editing and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel in the UK and internationally.
