Countydurhamvolunteering is looking for someone to lead a section of scouts in Stanley, England. The role involves guiding activities, helping scouts earn badges, and teaching valuable life skills.

This position requires good leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Training and support are provided through The Scout Association. The role is permanent, with activities taking place on Monday nights at Burnopfield church hall.

Qualifications

• No prior experience in scouting needed but would be desirable.
• Must communicate well with young people in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

To lead a section of scouts, in activities and section nights, to help scouts complete badges and have new experiences. To also develop young people and teachbthem skills for life.

The Purpose of scouts to to give young people skills foe life and gibe them new experiences. We are looking to do a lot of activities, including climbing, watersports, outdoor adventure activities and awards such as the Gold scout award and Silber scout award, which will involve expeditions, camps etc.
