Qualifications

  • Valid Nursing registration with the NMC for the UK.
  • 12 months recent paid experience completed at ward level within an NHS hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prison experience is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including administering medications.
  • Assess patient conditions and provide necessary interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient well-being.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Deal with patients with challenging behaviour.
