Job summary

University of Warwick seeks to appoint a proactive professional to deliver the implementation of its Way to Sustainable scope 3 strategy. You will enthuse procurement specialists and suppliers to reduce emissions, engage departments, and promote accurate reporting of scope 3 across the campus.

You will lead initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and champion the strategy while aligning with the university’s net-zero goals and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement and drive actions with stakeholders to promote and deliver the University’s sustainability strategy in Procurement/Finance.
• Coordinate sustainability data and reporting for scope 3 in Procurement management information packs.
• Develop and agree action plans with Procurement and departments to reduce scope 3 emissions.
• Promote awareness of scope 3 emissions across the University and liaise with leadership to drive uptake.
• Collaborate with Research Community to explore topics related to scope 3 emissions.
