CPI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist to join its dynamic, analytical team within the national biologics manufacturing centre in Darlington to support cutting-edge biopharmaceutical innovation across platforms including mRNA vaccines, AAV vectors, monoclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects such as Fortuna 5 ( AAV ) and Electra (protein), applying analytical expertise to characterise complex biologics and support process development. It is also offers the chance to work across avariety of analytical techniques, some of which may include: high performance liquid chromatography ( UPLC / HPLC ), mass spectrometry, capillary isoelectric focussing, biolayer interferometry, dynamic light scattering, differential scanning calorimetry, circular dichroism, capillary electrophoresis, ELISA , polymerase chain reaction techniques (qPCR and ddPCR), microfluidic imaging, SEC-MALS and SDS-PAGE .

The successful candidate will be educated to aminimum of HNC /Foundation Degree level (or equivalent) in aScientific/Engineering discipline with industrial experience and;
