A healthcare provider in Huddersfield is seeking a Scientific Officer in Quality Management to join its Pathology Department. The role involves supporting the Quality Manager and ensuring compliance with quality standards in pathology services. Applicants must be HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists with experience in quality management. This position will work across two hospital sites. Commitment to training and staff development is emphasized.
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, self motivated Scientific Officer in Quality Management within CHFT's Pathology Department, to work closely with the Pathology Quality Manager. The Pathology Department is across two hospital sites (Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital) and all areas of the pathology service are currently UKAS accredited.
We are looking for a qualified HCPC Biomedical Scientist who will be a key member of the Quality team within CHFT, has previous Pathology quality experience and has participated in UKAS accreditation.
The department is committed to the training and development of all staff.
The post holder will work closely with the Pathology Quality Manager to support the management, development and maintenance of the QMS for all departments within Pathology.
The post holder will be required to be a point of contact within the Quality team for all matters related to Quality Management. This includes triaging requests for support and communicating effectively with the Quality Manager and Administrator to ensure the team delivers appropriate guidance and support across Pathology.
This will require liaising effectively with all grades and roles across Pathology including clinical, scientific and support staff.
