Job description
Overview

Content Creator (Ideal for Science Graduates)

Are you a curious science graduate who loves explaining how things work?

Our client is seeking a Content Creator to join their established Marketing team based just outside of Oxford.

Ideally you will be as passionate about technology as you are about communication. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical background with creativity, helping to shape how our client shares knowledge and inspires engineers, designers, and manufacturers across the UK.

This isn’t about churning out marketing copy; it’s about becoming the voice of the business, crafting content that informs, engages, and builds trust.

You will wear three hats in this varied and creative role:

Responsibilities
  • The Insights Partner
    • Learn about markets, technologies, and customers understanding what really matters to engineers and decision-makers.
    • Attend industry events, talk to customers and partners, and bring back insights.
    • Help tell stories that make a real impact on buying decisions and brand reputation.
  • The Creator
    • Write and create content across formats: blog articles, social media posts, video scripts, presentations, and more.
    • Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging communication.
    • Experiment with style and format finding new ways to connect with our audience.
    • Use AI tools to support your work while championing our authentic, human voice.
  • The Analyst
    • Learn to measure what works using analytics and feedback to refine our approach.
    • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure our content truly supports business goals.
What You Will Bring To The Role
  • A degree in science (or related technical discipline)
  • Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in how things are made and how technology advances
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging language
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Some familiarity with SEO or digital content is an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.

If you’re ready to bring your science background into a creative, people-focused role and you’re excited and passionate by the idea of learning, experimenting, and growing, we’d love to hear from you.
