Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-time or Full-time (until end of academic year)
Location: Various off-site settings - access to a car desirable
Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (for qualified teachers)
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK - no sponsorship available

Are you passionate about supporting young people who thrive through personalised, flexible learning?
We are seeking caring and motivated tutors to provide one-to-one off-site tuition for students aged 5-16 some of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other learning difficulties.

This rewarding role involves working with students away from the school environment, helping them re-engage with education, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals.

About the Role
  • Deliver tailored one-to-one sessions in Science (other subjects considered)
  • Support learners across a range of abilities and needs, adapting teaching approaches accordingly
  • Plan engaging lessons aligned with each student's individual learning plan
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to support consistent learning outcomes
About You
  • Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) - however, applicants with a strong tutoring or mentoring background will also be considered
  • Experience working with SEND would be advantageous
  • Flexible, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to build strong relationships with students
  • Access to a car would be an advantage unless already based locally
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
Role Details
  • Start: January 2026
  • Duration: Until end of the academic year (with potential for extension)
  • Hours: Flexible - part-time and full-time opportunities available
  • Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (dependent on qualifications and experience)
