Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in Beaconsfield is seeking a dedicated Science Technician to support practical science lessons and equipment management in a busy school environment. You will help with experiments across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, maintain stock and safety standards, and assist teachers and students to enable engaging, hands-on learning.

Flexibility and a proactive, reliable approach are valued. The role is full-time, based on-site in Beaconsfield, with DBS checks and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Hands-on, practical approach to work.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support practical experiments across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Assist with demonstrations, investigations and practical activities.
• Monitor stock levels and report when supplies need reordering.
• Maintain accurate records and inventories of lab equipment.
• Keep laboratories clean, safe and well-organised.
• Support preparation of resources for exams and coursework.
• Collaborate with teachers, technicians and wider school team.
