A local educational institution in the East Midlands seeks a proactive Science Technician to join its team. The role involves coordinating practical resources to enhance Science teaching. Candidates should have experience in a school environment and an understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, particularly CLEAPSS and COSHH. The school promotes the welfare of students and requires a satisfactory DBS check for this role.
Required ASAP. 37 hours per week. Term Time Only. NJC Points 4.
We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join our existing team. The main purpose of the role is to co‑ordinate the use of practical resources and facilities to support our Science teaching. The successful candidate will be proactive, approachable, calm and professional.
We would prefer applicants who have experience working in a school environment and an awareness of health and safety issues relating to school science. Awareness of CLEAPSS and/or COSHH regulations would be an advantage.
