Job Description

Science Technician – Required January 2026

  • 21 hours per week – days and times to be negotiated to fit candidate availability
  • 38 weeks per year (term time only)
  • LG Scale 4 – Actual salary £12,847 – £13,046 (including fringe allowance)

We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join a friendly and enthusiastic team who service a suite of 11 laboratories covering Years 7‑13. Previous experience as a Science Technician in school and a recognised qualification are desirable but not essential as training will be given. Working days and times to be negotiated at interview, we are able to offer hours that will fit the successful candidate's availability around their commitments.
