Job summary

Ashington Academy, part of the North East Learning Trust, is seeking a Science Technician to support learning and teaching with technical skills. You will assist teachers with maintaining equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring a safe laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with MIS/IT/data software, be highly organized, proactive and flexible, with good IT skills and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing Management Information Systems (MIS), IT, Data and Administrative software.
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with educational tech.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with technical aspects to support learning and teaching.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and health and safety practices.
• Be proactive in managing IT and data-related tasks to support classroom activities.
