Responsibilities

• Lead consistently excellent and ambitious science lessons.
• Model high-quality classroom practice and professional standards.
• Coach and develop colleagues across the school.
• Design and deliver effective professional development for staff.
• Support the continued development of the science curriculum.
• Strengthen questioning, modelling, assessment and checks for understanding.
• Promote inclusive teaching and effective classroom adaptation.
• Collaborate with senior and subject leaders to improve teaching school‑wide.
• Contribute to quality assurance and evaluation of teaching.
• Develop professional links across the wider University Schools Trust.
