Role: Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Croydon, South London

Contract: Full Time & Fixed Term

Start Date: January 2026

Pay: MPS1 - MPS6

• Design and deliver engaging, well-structured science lessons that stretch and challenge students
• Lead the effective delivery of practical work, fostering safe and exciting lab experiences
• Use data and feedback to monitor student progress and intervene where needed
• Create a classroom environment defined by respect, high expectations, and a passion for learning
• Oversee the day‑to‑day running of science labs (equipment, safety, stocks, risk assessments)
• Contribute to school life beyond the classroom — extracurriculars, trips, school culture
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in network‑wide initiatives and professional development
