The Role

We are working with a Good-rated mainstream secondary school in Salford who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This position is to cover a maternity leave and will run on a long-term supply basis, teaching all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You'll be joining a supportive and well-established science department, where high standards and engaging teaching are at the heart of their success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across all three sciences
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement
  • Work collaboratively within the science department and wider school community
Requirements
