Science Teacher - Crewe Area - October Half-Term Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher who loves bringing the subject to life and sparking curiosity in young minds?

Academics are working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Crewe area to find a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team after October half-term. This is a full-time, fixed-term position running from October 2025 until Christmas, with the potential for extension.

What you'll be doing:
  • Teaching engaging and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Supporting students to reach their potential through creative, well-structured lessons.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and collaborating with a friendly, supportive team.
What you'll need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and preferably KS5.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Sciences, ideally with a Chemistry focus.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and promoting a love of Science.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour.
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one (can be processed through Academics).
