A successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Science Teacher with the ability to teach their specialism up to A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). Teach Science across KS3 & KS4, with A-Level delivery in your specialist subject
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for mixed-ability groups
Use assessment effectively to track progress, identify gaps, and raise attainment
Maintain excellent behaviour routines and foster a positive learning environment
Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment, and department development
Inspire and motivate students to pursue further study in Science
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Experience teaching your specialism at A-Level
Excellent behaviour management and confident classroom delivery
A positive, reflective and high-standards teacher
