Job summary

Academics are seeking qualified Science Teachers to join our network of secondary schools in Watford for September 2026 starts. This role focuses on KS3/KS4 with emphasis on Physics, offering permanent, full-time positions through our client schools.

Successful candidates will hold QTS (or equivalent) and a Physics-related degree, with prior secondary teaching experience and strong classroom management. Excellent communication and a commitment to raising achievement are essential.

  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and the development of the Science department.

We are currently looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Science Teachers who are available for opportunities in secondary schools across Watford from September 2026. As schools begin to plan their staffing requirements for the new academic year, we are building a strong network of high-quality Science Teachers ready to step into roles as vacancies become available. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to get ahead of the September recruitment period and be considered for permanent teaching opportunities within supportive and well-resourced secondary schools.

The Role

Potential opportunities will involve teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a particular focus on Physics. Successful candidates will play an active role in supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes while developing curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm for Science.

Key Responsibilities
