Science Teacher – Medway

Salary: £168 to £232 per day

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons tailored to the diverse learning needs of students with SEND.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to ensure accessibility for all learners, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and other complex needs.
  • Use hands-on experiments and interactive activities to enhance understanding and engagement in scientific concepts.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide individualized learning and emotional support.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for the role.
  • A degree in Science or a related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
  • Experience working with students with SEND or SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
