Contract: 9-Month Fixed-Term / Long-Term Supply

Salary: MPS/UPS (paid to scale)

A welcoming and high-performing secondary school in Stanmore is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a 9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialist who can deliver high-quality lessons and contribute positively to a successful and supportive Science department.

The Role
  • Teach Science across KS3-KS4 (specialism at KS4 considered).
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support progress for all learners.
  • Take responsibility for planning, marking, assessment and interventions.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.
What We're Looking For
  • A qualified teacher of Science (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  • Ability to inspire curiosity, critical thinking and enthusiasm for Science.
